A Child's Wish Foundation Announces 2nd Annual "A Night of Hope & Celebration" Gala and Silent Auction

An Evening Dedicated to Granting Wishes and Creating Lasting Memories for Children Facing Life-Altering and Life-Threatening Illnesses

MONTGOMERY, N.Y. — A Child's Wish Foundation is proud to announce its 2nd Annual "A Night of Hope & Celebration" Gala & Silent Auction, taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the beautiful Magnanini Winery in Wallkill, New York.

Following the tremendous success of last year's inaugural gala, which raised more than $135,000 and helped grant life-changing wishes to children and their families, this year's event promises to be even more impactful. During the evening, A Child's Wish Foundation will proudly announce and grant several new wishes to deserving children, creating unforgettable moments of hope, joy, and inspiration.

Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring a live performance by Grammy Award-winning polka legend Jimmy Sturr, a silent auction filled with exciting items, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, a complimentary glass of wine, and inspiring stories that showcase the Foundation's mission of bringing hope to children during some of life's most difficult journeys.

Founded by Alice and Arnold "Butch" Amthor, A Child's Wish Foundation is committed to granting wishes for children facing life-threatening and life-altering illnesses while providing hope and support to their families. The Foundation is powered entirely by the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community partners who believe every child deserves something special to look forward to.

Corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities remain available, giving businesses and community members the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of local children while supporting one of the Hudson Valley's most meaningful charitable events.
