Jack George

Jack George is an avid sports fan with his favorite teams being the Milwaukee Brewers and the Pittsburgh Penguins while his favorite band is RUSH.

As a result of his love of the Penguins, Jack's nickname became "Penguin" as he would call in and provide sports reports on Jimmy Howes's Saturday Night Show on 92Rock7 in Middletown.  This started his radio career as it led to him being hired on air on WALL and then adding WKOJ in 1990 where he did overnights.

Jack worked on the sports side of WALL as well, broadcasting Middletown High School Middle Football games along with Lou Masci  during the mid 90's.    In 1995 when WKOJ became WRRV, Jack became know as Jack the Ripper.  By 1999, Jack morphed into doing part time on air work on WPDH while serving as a Master Control Operator and Sports Cameraman with with Time Warner Cable 6 while still playing Jack the Ripper on WPDH through 2023.

Jack's love of football had him calling games on WTBQ in 2023 and after that adventure, Jack rejoined WALL Radio along with WDLC Country and The Pike 106.9 in 2024 to work with the production and broadcasts of High School Football games for multiple local teams.
