Art Behrent at the board. Art was on-air talent who also did news and Orange County Speaks from time to time.

Behind him are racks containing: MacIntosh house speaker amp, Presto reel-to-reel, EBS Monitor, transmitter controls, patch bay, stereo Audimax (or was it Volumax?). To left of the patch bay was a Terry King contrivance of homebrew EQ/Attenuator for left/right FM tweaking. One day, as a joke, Peter Laskaris and I installed an attenuator on a blank rack panel, put it in the rack, and placed an "operator directive" card which read "Place knob at 11 AM." It was not connected to anything!

Joe Ryan inquired why we set the knob to 11AM, and we told him "That's where WGNY sets theirs." Later we caught him setting the knob to 12 O'Clock, you see he just had to be one up on those guys at 'GNY.

Terry the engineer was on vacation at the time, and thus we escaped uninjured.
